JOIN THE NATIONAL RETROFIT CONVOY
Retrofit workers and businesses from across the UK are travelling to Westminster to demand action to protect retrofit jobs.
Thousands of skilled workers have already lost their livelihoods, with tens of thousands more at risk, while the government promises 240,000 green jobs by 2030.
Why Workers Are Mobilising
Across the UK, retrofit installers, surveyors, coordinators and small businesses are already facing job losses.
Industry surveys indicate that 12,100 jobs have already been lost, with over 70,000 more at risk.
At the same time, the government has promised 240,000 green jobs by 2030.
You cannot build tomorrow's green workforce by destroying the one delivering upgrades today.
Retrofit workers and businesses are coming to Westminster to demand action to protect jobs, support SMEs, and maintain the UK's ability to upgrade homes.
